On that 40th day of the pandemic's hold, when a simple walk in the park felt like a distant memory, I unexpectedly embarked on a project I never thought I would. In the heart of a deserted cityscape, I found myself settling into the conference room of the White&Case law firm, with a view overlooking Warsaw's skyline. Circumstances had me locked in, surrounded by the building's glass walls, which now framed a city that had grown unnaturally quiet. The once lively streets had surrendered to an eerie stillness, and the usual buzz had given way to an unsettling silence.

As I navigated this unique situation, an unexpected opportunity presented itself – a chance to create a revealing self-portrait. A woman of thirty years, I turned the camera on myself with an unfiltered honesty, shedding the layers of makeup, accessories, and even the familiar cap that often accompanied my selfies. Within the frame, the scene revealed a tousled bed, an assortment of books ranging from photo albums to psychological guides, wine bottles, my faithful computer, and a chaotic scatter of unpaid bills – all bearing witness to the everyday essence of my home office.
