DISASTER INDEX
Disaster Index is an ongoing photobook project structured as an alphabetical catalogue of disasters, obsessions, misconceptions, desires, accidents and recurring thoughts.

Bringing together photographs made across different years, places and projects, the work explores catastrophe not only as an event, but as a way of seeing the world. Wildfires, burning cars, abandoned landscapes, warning signs and everyday encounters appear alongside personal associations, literary references and fragments of memory.

Organised from A to Z, the book operates simultaneously as an archive, an inventory and a self-portrait. Rather than following chronology or geography, images connect through chains of association, creating a psychological landscape where documentary observation, personal mythology and dark humour coexist.

Disaster Index is a user manual for a mind whose natural state seems to be a state of emergency.
